Hello everyone! Last month, I made a survey asking my audience what kind of NSFW content they wanted to see in the game. Now I'm here to show you guys the results and give my thoughts on them. Here are the results.

Overall, I got a mixture of both expected and interesting results. This won't dictate all the sex scenes in the game, but it does give me good data to look at. I will take notes when I write and draw the sex scenes.

The first question asks about sex positions. The most popular positions were doggy-style, standing wall sex, and missionary. Blowjob, cowboy-style, press-mating, and Threesomes were also popular. The least popular positions were reverse missionary (probably because no one knows what that is), solo, and handjob. Doggy-style and wall sex are pretty fucking hot, so I will definitely add those in the future. Missionary is a position I'm less enthusiastic about, but it can be hot as well, so I'll try to add that as well. The other sex positions I will also consider adding to the game, but if they happen to be a position I'm not particularly fond of, they're less likely to get into the game if they're less popular.

Next are about kinks. Casual Nudity, Face Sitting, Glory Hole, Public Sex, Shower Sex, and Sex in the Woods were all rated very highly. It seems like novelty sex is the most popular among my audience (as well as having your airways blocked by the booty). I will say this about public sex. It's going to be hard to find a place where the characters not only have a reason to have public sex but also where no one would catch them. I don't want to break the audience's suspension of disbelief for a sexy scene. Same with sex in the woods, as there needs to be a reason why they're in the woods in the first place, instead of going there for the purpose to fuck (Maybe there would be a character who would do that though). The least popular kinks were watersports, fisting, humiliation, slaveplay, and urethral penetration. These are quite divisive kinks in general, so I'm not surprised they were rated so lowly here. Will I put these kinks in the game? Honestly, probably not, if only because I don't see it being worth it of putting all the effort into writing a scene with any of those kinks if a good portion of my audience doesn't want to see them. I'm probably not going to put all the kinks listed because I need to find a place to put them but I'm willing to put in the kinks I both like and are fairly liked.

For the next question, I asked what body parts they wanted the sex scenes to focus on. The most popular were dick, pecs, and face. The least popular was feet, which only got 4 votes. Legs were also unpopular. Ass cheeks, ass hole, and belly were more in the middle of the road, though it's possible that ass cheeks and ass hole would have been more popular if they were combined into just ass. I'm going to be honest with you, I'm an ass man first and foremost, but I will keep in mind what people really want to see during the sex.

For this next question, people were mostly neutral on whether they wanted more romantic or more carnal sex scenes. There are slightly more people who favor carnal scenes, but most people were neutral. There are benefits for both so I'll do either one wherever it makes sense.

And for this question, I asked people what position they thought the MC was in. Most people thought he was Switch, a small amount said he was a dom, and a smaller amount said he was a sub. Makes sense, considering he owns a Nintendo Switch has a variety of love interests and it would be limited if he was just sub or dom. I actually haven't decided on what exactly his position is, so maybe these results will affect how I write him in sex scenes.

This one's interesting. It asks the respondent what position they are. One-eight of people said they don't know. Most people said they were verse. A fourth of respondents said they were bottoms. Everyone else said they were tops. This is very telling I feel. An apparent fourth of my audience (The actual number can vary) are bottoms yet are interested in playing this game about topping guys. Keep in mind that I make it clear on the game page and in this very survey. I think this says a lot about how small the bara niche is and how people are craving that kind of content regardless if it fufills the needs of their sexual position. As for the other respondents, I'm glad that a good proportion of my audience are verse and tops, which means I don't have to feel pressured to make the sexual content of my game aimed towards bottoms. Sorry bottoms, I love you guys (how could I not?) but I want to make content that satisfies my needs.

This next question I added a bit late, so only a little less than a fourth of respondents answered this one. People were mixed about the game being focused on content for tops, with a strong leaning towards a positive response. Most of the lower ratings were from bottoms but some bottoms also answered with a positive response, which I find interesting.

For this question, the results were also pretty neutral. Most people picked three, although there's a slight lean towards the love interests being dominant. The love interests are quite varied, so it will depend on the character on their position. That said, it is nice to know that most people don't really mind who is what.

As for when people wanted sex to happen, the results are pretty split. Almost half said they wanted the sex to happen early on, while the other half said they wanted the sex to happen later on, with some of the free responses saying they either don't care or that it depends on the love interest. Indeed, when sex happens depends on the love interest. Some will have sex scenes earlier than others, not because of favoritism but because of their character. However, these results make me consider if I should put in sex earlier than I originally intended for some characters, or at least have some lewd moments happens early on. I'll see how it will pan out.

The next question asks the length of each sex scene. Like before, the results are almost evenly split, this time with no notable leaning towards either side. I mentioned this before, but I had really long sex scenes for All in Love and War. I'd imagine not everyone enjoys those long scenes and they took a lot of resources (often several CGs and lots of writing). I asked this question because I was considering making them shorter. The general consensus seems to be that I should make them shorter, but not too short. Maybe something similar in length to the jacking-off scene that happens on the third night of the game. I'll have to talk with some people about this.

The last multiple-choice question asks if I should include an option to make the MC translucent and most people don't really care. However a good amount of people said yes, and more people said yes than no, so I'll consider adding an option later on in development.

For the first free response question, I asked people which character they wanted to see NSFW content of the most. I didn't make it multiple-choice because I wanted to be coy about who was going to be datable and who wasn't, since there were a couple of men I wanted to be datable but I wasn't sure if I could increase the scope of the game to make them datable. I got responses for pretty much every character that I wanted to be datable in the game. Here's a quick count I did:

MC: 6 (Maybe 7?) 

Biker: 6 

The old man at the bar: 3 

Shams: 3 

Saiful: 2 

(Note that several respondents named multiple guys at once). I'm kind of surprised Hasan did so well, but I guess that has to do with how well I wrote that scene at the police station. Man, it's going to follow up on that scene 😂. A lot of responses said they just wanted all of them. Which is understandable considering what type of game this is.

For the final question, I didn't get a lot of interesting responses, but I will mention a few. Someone mentioned a nude mode, where all the characters are just naked all the time, which is funny at the very least. I got a few saying they wanted threesome routes. That is a highly requested thing in dating sims from what I've seen, and Dwarven Destiny, which I'm the artist for, is actually planning threesome routes in the distant future. However, I'm hesitant to add any threesome routes. I'm actually not a fan of three-way couples. Maybe I'm basic, but I'm not fond of them. We'll see.
