Hello everyone and happy Halloween! Well by the time most of you are reading this Halloween is over but it's Halloween when I published the devlog (in my timezone at least) so that's enough for me. I've been working on a new build of Barachoda Bloom this past month and I'm going to release it on November 2nd PST. For patrons, the new build will focus on DILFigator Hasan, while everyone else will get a build focusing on the nice old man, Shams. You can become a patron over here.

However, if you have been paying attention to my devlogs, you'd know that I've been working on another project called By Your Hands for Barajam 2022. For those who don't know the specifics I've been providing this past month, it's an erotic furry gay visual novel about both a murder mystery and a budding relationship between you and one of five guys of your picking.  I don't want to talk too much about the story because I want people to go into the game not knowing what to expect aside from its genre.  I'm responsible for the basic concept, coding, and art, while the one responsible for writing the project is Nemo, who's on the development team of Minotaur Hotel, one of my favorite VNs to date. This is a project I came up with a year ago and I'm excited to finally see it come to fruition. I'm not planning on this project to become my new focus but things might change depending on the reception of the game. I'll see how things work out before I decide on the future of this project.

I'm going to be honest with you guys, with the sheer amount of furry visual novels out there, it's a little intimidating putting this game out there. I feel like it's inevitably going to be compared to other furry VNs and that it's going to be hard to stick out in the crowd. But I hope that regardless of its success, I hope people enjoy it and that working on the VN is a pleasure for me. I've been meaning to experiment and indulge with things I couldn't do with Barachoda Bloom, so I hope it turns out well. One thing I'll note about By Your Hands, however. The fact that it's revolving around a murder mystery should tick you off that this is darker than BB. I will say that this game is overall pretty dark, and can get really dark at certain points. It deals with heavy subjects and goes in-depth into those topics at certain points of the story. Just a warning for those who are used to the generally light-hearted tone of BB. 

Anyways, here are the characters of By Your Hands, both love interests and side characters (Note, there might be some minor differences between the art you see here and the final art in the game):

Kamil the Karkadann

He's been your best friend basically forever. He's on the football team and one of their best players. He's friendly, supportive, and full of energy.

Mr. Baker the Bison

He's the professor of your morning class. He's not very popular with his students, but he does a good job teaching them. He's a little intimidating, but maybe there's a kind soul behind that rough exterior. Or maybe not.

Tucker the Tiger

He's the most popular character at the college you're attending. He's the head quarterback of the college's football team. He's really scary, but he's a cool guy once you get to know him. That's what people say anyway.

Wyatt the Wolf

He's on the college's football team and a fan favorite among the students. He's friends with Tucker and Kamil. He's really dumb, but that doesn't matter when he's so lovable!

Liam the Lion

Liam's close friends with Tucker and Wyatt. He's nice and willing to do anything for Tucker. Don't underestimate him, he'll be sure to make quite an impression on you.

Connor the Chicken

It's been a while since you've seen him and you're looking forward to spending the semester with him. He can be hot-headed at times but he's always there for you. Just don't make a chicken joke.

Owen the Orca Whale

He's a little shy but he tries to get out of trouble. He prefers to be alone, so don't expect to easily get a response out of him if you plan on being friends with the guy.

Ben the Black Vulture

A strange guy you meet handing out posters for this show he's hosting. He seems a little weird, best not to trust him too much.

Am I forgetting someone? Oh yeah, the protagonist! Ah, I'm sure it will be fine. You won't be seeing him a lot during the VN so it's not like it's that important in describing him.
