Hello everyone! Today I'm here to talk about the results of the NSFW survey. I got over 300 responses, and I'm going to talk about what data I got.  You can view the results here.

Before I start, I want to correct a mistake I made a few weeks ago. When I announced that By Your Hands would become my new focus, I mentioned that the next build would focus on Brendan's route. That's not true. Without revealing too much, there's a lot that needs to be addressed after you-know-what happens at the end of the first build, so Nemo ended up writing over 10k words and it involved all of the love interests except for Mr. Baker. This build doesn't focus on a particular route, but certain things change depending on the route. I might be able to put out a Patreon-exclusive build that does continue the Brendan route in February, but the public will have to wait another month to read that build. Just letting you guys know. Without further ado, let's begin.

First of all, let's talk about sex positions. By far the most common sex position that was stated was Sub Bottom, with around 30% of respondents saying that was their position. Over 45% of respondents said they were bottoms and about 37% said they were subs. I talked a little about how content for subs and bottoms was more popular than content for doms and tops, but it's really exaggerated in this survey. This could be because the audience for this VN (a mystery furry visual novel set in college) just has more sub bottoms. Another thing that could have affected the results was that the erotic content in the game so far favored sub-bottoms. Please note that these results don't mean that all the erotic content in the game will be targeted toward sub bottoms. This goes for all the questions but I feel it's important to mention it right away. The second most common answer was Switch Verse, which is good because either sub/bottom or dom/top content will appeal to them. We got more switches than subs with about 40% of respondents saying they're switches. By far the position that was the least common was Sub Top, with only two respondents saying they're sub tops. Doms and tops were the least common overall. But don't worry, my dudes, I'll bring content for all types of positions. Just don't get too disappointed if there isn't enough content that caters to your position. I'll say that if you can't enjoy a visual novel because it doesn't have the type of erotic content you're looking for, then it's likely that this VN isn't for you. While there will be more sex scenes coming up, this VN is focused more on the story than the erotic content. I want people to enjoy it because of the characters and narrative rather than how big the character's cocks are (although I won't object if people enjoy it for both reasons).

Next up we have favorite sex positions. Doggy style was the most popular position, followed by blowjobs, press mating, wall sex, and threesome. The least popular was solo, followed by reverse missionary (probably because no one knows what that is) and handjobs. I'm pretty pleased with the results, as I do enjoy the positions that are popular. I only wish rimjobs, 69s, and both cowboy styles were more popular, but you can't win them all I suppose.

Now we go onto the kinks. The most popular kinks, in no particular order, are public sex, shower sex, sex in the woods, and casual nudity. I'm comparing these results with the results of the NSFW survey I made for Barachoda Bloom and the thing that sticks out the most to me is the  musk kink. It is far more popular here than it is with the BB crowd. I've noticed that furries are generally more into musk than other crowds of people. Other than that, Urethral Penetration and Watersports are more liked, bondage/ropeplay is a lot more popular, and people weren't as big a fan of face sitting. I added three kinks that weren't in the other survey. Male lactation was generally liked but it had a sizable portion of people who didn't like it. The other two, Sissifcation and Women's Lingerie, however, were intensely hated. These are two kinks that I think can be really hot in the right circumstances but I could only find a couple of people who enjoyed these kinks. I talked to someone about it and they said that they found sissification to be incredibly sexist, homophobic, and heteronormative. I don't agree with him, but I can see why a lot of people don't like these fetishes. Generally speaking, most kinks in the game will be optional. If there's a kink you don't want to see, then you can always not see it.

Next is what parts of the body people want to see the most. There's not much to say other than people wanting to see penis and pecs the most. Not as many people are ass men, but I will be appealing to you guys anyways. The same goes for the question asking if they want the sex to be more lustful or more romantic. It's pretty evenly balanced with a slight leaning toward lustful and carnal.

Then we have the spicy stuff. The positions you guys think the main cast is. The results are… interesting to say the least. Most everyone thought Rex is a Switch Verse, which makes sense considering he would have to have sex with all the love interests and it would be awkward to have sex with a dom top if you were… a dom top (insert "When you're both TOPS" meme). I will say that some people put everyone in the same position, including the MC, and I also saw people put characters they wanted to see erotic content for the most in positions that are incompatible with their position, both of which were interesting. The distant second most common answer was sub bottom which makes sense considering most people picked that as their position. For Connor, most people leaned towards him being either a dom top or a switch verse, with a good amount going for switch top and dom verse, which I find interesting. Kamil and Brendan were also flagged as dom tops, Brendan, in particular, having only a minority choosing otherwise. Meanwhile, people are certain that Owen's a sub bottom. What people thought Vlad is was interesting, as the most common answer was that he's a switch verse. However, a good amount also thought that he was a dom top or a dom bottom. Now, what positions are they actually are? Well, I'll tell you… later. Soon I'll include a document that lists out all the characters' positions. I'm not posting it now because I don't want it to get too much attention right now. I'd also recommend not looking at the document as it contains spoilers. I'll talk more about it later.

For the next two questions, more than half said they were certain the protagonist shared the same position as them, which is interesting considering they put in a position for the protagonist that was different from theirs but whatever, and over 60% said they it depended on the situation on if they enjoy playing as a character that was of a different position of them. Hopefully, people do enjoy playing as the MC, because I can imagine that there are going to be a lot of instances where the MC's position doesn't match the reader's. We'll see. For when they want to see Rex and the love interest having sex, generally the options for them to have sex early in the route were more popular than the options saying they should have sex later on. I get it, people want to see their erotic content, but Nemo and I also have a specific story in mind. Sometimes we can't really put an erotic scene early on because of the story. I'm sure you guys will understand. For the length and frequency of sex scenes, both sides were people balanced. For whether or not I should add an option to make the MC translucent, most people said they didn't care but a good amount said they wanted it to happen. I'll definitely consider it.

Finally, I asked which character(s) they wanted to see loods the most. The character people wanted to see erotic content of is, drum roll please, Brendan with almost 69% of people picking him. Not like anyone was surprised. For second place, we have Kamil with over half of the respondents picking him. Going in order we have Connor, then Vlad, and then lastly we have Owen. We still love you though, Owen. Wyatt also got a couple of people picking him, with Liam and Tucker getting even fewer picks.

The last two questions are free-response questions. I'm not going to go through any one of them in specific but I got a lot of interesting ones. Read them if you like, but beware of how unique they are. I liked some of these ideas, less so for other ideas.

And that's everything. Erotic content isn't everything for this VN, but it is an important aspect, so I do want to see what you guys want from it.
