Brendan Day 5 Now Available to the Public
Hello everyone! I'm taking a break this month due to some issues of burnout, so in the meanwhile, enjoy this build I released a month ago to my patrons. This adds Day 5 of Brendan's route. Here's the full list of changes:
- Fixed a typo where the game would say that Rex was saying a line when it should be Brendan saying it during the scene where he introduces Rex to another character.
- The name color for the character that gets introduced in Brendan's Day 5 has been changed to a brighter color. Previously it was the exact same color as Brendan's.
- Changed C------'s expression during two instances to one that wasn't seen before this build.
- Changed Brendan's expression during one instance.
- Fixed the issue where the music transition was slightly out of sync. Turns out that the game was still using a placeholder track when the intended final track was still in the game.
- My notes say that I changed Kamil's expression during one instance but I don't actually remember what instance that was so I'm not sure if I actually made this change or not.
- Changed the caption for the opening song that plays in Days 1-3.
- A CG Gallery has been added! In order to unlock the CGs, you have to go through the necessary scenes again. Also, I kinda forgot to ask the programmer to remove the code that appears in the top section so please forgive me for that.
- The Extras menu has now been removed and replaced with CG Gallery. This is a temporary change and it will be added back once we implemented the other gallery screens and CG Gallery will be moved to the Extras menu.
- Default volume settings for music and sound have been changed. This shouldn't affect returning players but it will probably affect new players.
- Fixed a typo in Day 1 of Brendan's route where "include" was capitalized.
- Fixed a typo in Day 1 of Brendan's route where it was "full" not "fell".
- Changed the formatting of the history screen so that text wasn't running out of the margins.
- Added animations whenever a character sprite goes from the default view to the "closeup" view and vice versa. As a side effect, the closeup sprites look slightly blurrier.
- Added a new expression to Kamil that he makes during the scene where you side-hug him.
- Previously, the code was implemented so that the game would change the game's volume behind the scenes. This has been changed so that the volume changes internally without touching the settings and there are more natural transitions with volume changes.
- Replaced the first slide that appears during Brendan's lecture on Day 1 with custom-made art (sort of, I didn't change the background).
- Patrons are now displayed differently. Check the About section to see what I mean.
- Most of the game's images are now converted to webp files. This should decrease the file size immensely. The only caveat about this is that close-ups of sprites are now noticeably low quality. This should be alleviated in the future.
Wyatt's sprite still isn't updated :)
EDIT: It's been reported that some people's save files have been corrupted. This didn't happen to me but in case this happens to you, just use the skip function for now. Eventually, a chapter select function will be implemented.
The next build won't be coming to the public until September so please be patient. Hopefully, things will get back on track for me and Nemo.

bug occurs for me when using Skip button in the scene where it pans up the flagpole
Yeah, that's an issue with the build. Just press Ignore for now. This will be fixed in the next build.
